Our Mission

A student-run initiative ...

Wherever you are,

We are there for you.

At this moment, the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) is an unusual reality that can affect several people psychologically.

Indeed, many Quebecers have experienced an increased level of stress, anxiety, depression and loneliness.

Quebec government advised the elderly and those living in retirement home to stay inside, which means no more visitors.

Even if these restrictions are important, they increase loneliness in senior citizens, who can’t see their loved ones or participate in their daily social activities.

Our team immediately created the “Social distancing at the other end of the line” project in order to allow an elderly person to speak, in complete confidentiality, with a student. The goal is to create a correspondence from 1 to 4 times a week to fight the isolation.
