I am an Elder
Over the phone is a student initiative looking to help elderly people during the coronavirus pandemic. With the social distancing measures given by the government, it is completely normal to feel stressed, anxious or lonely. That is why we have started this project: to help you!
About Social distancing at the other end of the line
We offer a regular phone call service in order to keep you company. You will be paired with a student who will call you daily according to a schedule that suits you both. Before receiving any calls, the volunteer receives training and has to sign a nondisclosure agreement in order to understand the confidentiality of the process. During the calls, you are allowed to talk about any subjects, as long as both of the participants are comfortable. It is an opportunity to add a social interaction to your day!
